The overall goal of the Parents as Leaders Program is to provide additional educational and community resources to parents of children attending the Norwood, Constantine, Hobson City and Ayers Head Start centers. Through parental workshops, families receive the resources needed to raise healthy children and encourage lifelong academic success. According to the National Resource Center for Community-Based Family Resource and Support Programs, when parents are leaders, their potential to effect change for themselves and others is tremendous.

Parents who attend PAL workshops may earn community service hours and will receive a Certificate of Completion.
