ACEF Scholarship Fund
The ACEF Scholarship Fund Program provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Anniston, Oxford, Saks, and Wellborn who plan to pursue a course of study at either a two-year or four-year educational institution. Need and participation in ACEF's Youth Coalition will also be considered. Awards range in amounts from $1000 - $1,500 per recipient. The ACEF Scholarship is renewable, however, previous scholars must submit a new application per request. Renewal amounts vary and are not guaranteed. If a recipient’s scholarship is renewed, it may be less than the recipient's first award. Applications will be received from March 1st through May 1st.
Applicants must attend Anniston, Oxford, Saks, or Wellborn High Schools, or be a returning scholarship recipient.
Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or a returning scholarship recipient.
Applicants must have at least a 2.0-grade point average (or a “C” average).
Seniors must have either consistently strong academics or be able to demonstrate improvement over their time in high school, as well as a desire to attend college.
Applicants must demonstrate community involvement: seniors must be able to show at least 20 hours of community service over their time in high school while returning applicants must have 40 hours over the previous year. Returning students must show 5 hours of service with ACEF.
