ACEF Scholars
Kevin Thompson Scholarship Fund
The Kevin Thompson scholarship is a need-based scholarship that awards up to $500 to graduating seniors from Anniston and Wellborn High Schools who plan to pursue studies in Music or Education. The scholarship was established in memory of Mr. Kevin Thompson, a highly respected third-grade teacher at Wellborn Elementary School who tragically died at the age of 29. Mr. Thompson was well-known throughout the Calhoun County area as a compassionate, caring young educator who was dedicated to helping others.
*Contributions to the Kevin Thompson Scholarship Fund are welcomed and may be sent directly to Anniston Community Education Foundation. Please earmark the donation to the “Kevin Thompson Scholarship Fund.”
